Counselling

About

Is there a longing inside of you? A feeling you can’t quite name? Maybe it’s a cascade of emotion and you may feel too overwhelmed to understand or know how to process it. These emotions could be a sign of grief, sadness, anxiety, depression, or unhappiness with your current life circumstances. You may feel stuck and alone. With gentle guiding, I support you and your needs. My approach is person-centred and I use emotion-focused therapy and the expressive arts with clients. I believe each person is the expert of their own life and my role is to support you in a safe and non-judgemental space.

I am a clinical counsellor and certified music therapist. I have two master's degrees in Counselling Psychology and Music Therapy. I have worked in the healthcare profession for the past 13 years. I can help with a variety of issues including anxiety, depression, identity/culture, relationships, and grief/loss.

I also work with specific populations such as with caregivers, healthcare workers, students, and the highly sensitive person. In music therapy I specialize working with children with autism, seniors with dementia, and people with disabilities. Coming to counselling can be a courageous first step. I am glad you are here and I invite you to meet with me.
